Wanting to keep my mom from being too bored we packed up and went to the Science Museum today. Big mistake. The boys were in horrible moods, the fought, and whined the whole time. We ended up leaving early because I just couldn't take it and actually started having much more serious braxton hicks. Thankfully, once they went to bed that night the contractions settled down. We have no idea where this mood came from but it better go away because they have had no special treats, movies or snacks since.

Alex's First Tennis Lesson
We signed Alex up for a weeks worth of tennis lessons and they started today. He absolutely loved them. We were hesitant to sign him up for anymore since he seems to get bored with other classes we have gotten him into. But I plan on signing him up for next week asap. This is the first time that he was ready for the next class right away.

Zoo Day and Funny Rib Pics
On the hottest, most humid day of the week we decided to go to the zoo. Bad idea. But luckily, this zoo is so small that it takes about 1.5 hours for the whole adventure and that includes a train ride and some time at the park. Of course, today the boys were so hot at the park that they just sat in the huge spider web the whole time. We had fun but I think we will not be doing this while it is so hot.

Happy Birthday Jonathan!
Today we celebrated Jonathan's 3rd birthday. It is really hard to believe that my baby is already 3. I decided that I couldn't stand the heat anymore and we headed to one of our favorite indoor playgrounds, Kids Klubhouse. I ended up getting a membership for the next 3 months because I know that it will be too hot for me in July and in August it will be too hot for the baby.
After a lot of excitement at the Klubhouse my mom and I took the boys out to Chili's. It happens to be one of my favorite places and not one of Adam's so I figured I would go while he was away and couldn't tell me, "no, lets go to sushi".
We are going to be doing a big party for both boys on July 10th with all of their friends. We were sad that Adam couldn't celebrate with us but we enjoyed the day anyway.

Beach Day #2
Although technically only a lake we headed out to the beach today. This worked really well for my enlarged state. The car was about 100 yards away, 50% of which was concrete. And there was a bathroom right there too. The boys had a blast and we plan on going again with our nets to try and catch the tiny fish. We spent about 2 hours there and really that was plenty considering it was 90 degrees and very humid.

Alex's Graduation
Alex finished up Montessori Preschool today. I had one of those crazy days where I was constantly moving, packing, shopping, cooking and cleaning. But my favorite moment was when I could take a break and watch Alex's graduation. The school had it outside in their park area. It was a perfect day, with a nice cloud cover so there was no sun beating down on us.
Alex wanted to get a picture on the playground. He says it is his favorite and that he is sad he will never play on it again.
Here are a couple of movies of the songs the class sang. You can barely hear it, but they sure are cute.

Strawberry Picking
Today starts the annual blog fest, where I post nearly everyday to keep Adam up to date on the boys comings and goings since he is stuck in Europe having a miserable time traveling.
We began today very busy. Alex had school, and Jonathan had a playdate. With errands mixed in. We made it to Parlee Farms up near New Hampshire for a picnic at about 1pm. The boys were so excited to play and see the animals that they barely ate anything. Luckily, we were with friends which gave me an excuse to sit and relax with my lunch rather then eat it in the field. The boys started out by feeding the goats. I really think this was Jonathan's favorite part.
We all headed out to the fields. We got to go through the raspberry fields which got me excited to go back in July when they will be ready.
Jonathan and Alex were very good at picking great strawberries. Jonathan ate just about every one that he found though. He had a bit of a tummy ache as we were leaving but was better by the time we made it home.
Here is the whole gang. Such a great group. These kids are all from our complex and we meet them out at the park nearly everyday. It really has been great.
