Only the second month and already behind on our blog.

Well now that May is over, I guess I can finally update our blog. We have been very busy so hopefully June will be a little better.

Alex has really gotten good on his tricycle. We aren't allowed to push him anymore and usually have to run after him.

Early in the month we went to Happy Hallow in San Jose with our good friends, the Blanchards. Brian, Gretchen and Will came from Texas for a few days. Here are some pics from the petting zoo and the rides we got to go on.

We all got to go on the Dragon ride.

Alex saw his first puppet show; he actually watched the whole thing.

Adam and Alex as cowboys.

Alex loved the animals but his favorite was the turtle. He still talks about it.

He rode the ladybug ride quite a few times. I think we had to bribe him to get off.

Now for some cute Jonathan pics to even it out.

Gotta love the sunscreen fohawk.

We live right near a fish pond with tons of ducks and turtles. We found one in the grass on day and helped it back to its home in the water.

Adam went to Boston for a few days so Alex painted him a coming home picture. He got paint everywhere but had lots of fun.

Yummy!

And now for all the news. In mid-May I had an interview with UCSC for a Business Manager position. A few days later, they offered me the job. This was so exciting. I couldn't believe the opportunity. But, before I could say yes, Adam flew to Boston for a quick interview with Suffolk University. The night of the interview, they offered him the position and he accepted. So, rather sadly, I turned down UCSC. I would be very happy working again, however, I am much happier getting to stay home with the boys (now the New England weather will be a different story). The plan is for us to move to Boston around August 1st. We will know more after my solo journey to Boston to find an apartment.

Another update will come soon.

Busy April

So I am just figuring out how all this blog stuff works. For my first real post I am going to do a catch-up on what all has been going on in April.

Our first pic is just too cute. We got all of our stuff from Scotland (after 4 months on a boat). Jonathan had the usual fun climbing into as many as I would let him

In the middle of the month my parents came for a all of the sudden visit to California. We had tons of fun.

We did a huge trip to Monterey. Alex and Jonathan were pooped even before we arrived. But they still had energy to show how much they love each other.

We had a great time in Monterey. Going first to Fishermans Wharf for some yummy food.

We had fun at the Aquarium.

And the hit the beach for some naked Alex time.

We also spent some fun time with Cousin Jeremy fighting over Thomas the Tanks at Uncle Ron and Aunt Marita's house.

And finished the trip off with a cold dip in the pool.

Alex and Adam were in our friends Lizzy and Patrick's wedding on April 12th. Alex was the cutest little ring bearer and we were so thrilled he actually made it down the aisle.

We have been making all kinds of new friends in playgroup. In April, we got to go to Ardenwood Farm in Newark and rode the old Bus Train...pulled by a horse. It was very fun for the boys and now Alex talks about it all the time.

We had a much needed visit from Godpapa Kevin and Godmama Kayla. We sure hope that our visits with them aren't so spread out anymore.

And lastly for the busy month Jonathan says goodbye by showing us how cute babies are in shades...oh and that last pic is of him standing...he is getting to old already.
